USDT, Bitcoin or USDC: which crypto to sell?
You can sell about ten cryptocurrencies on AfriKash. But they are not all equal when your goal is to get paid fast with no surprises: confirmation speed, network fees and price stability during the trade change everything. Here is how to choose.
USDT and USDC: the simple choice
Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) are worth about 1 dollar: the amount you see on the calculator is the amount you will receive, with no risk of the price moving between the estimate and the payout. It is the most predictable choice, and by far the most used in Africa — stablecoins account for most of the continent's crypto volume.
One thing to watch: the network. USDT exists on several blockchains (Tron/TRC20, Ethereum/ERC20, BNB Chain…). Fees and speed vary widely — the Tron network is usually the cheapest and fastest for this kind of transfer. The exact network to use is shown on your order ticket before any sending.
Bitcoin and Ethereum: mind the volatility
Selling BTC or ETH is absolutely possible, but the price can move 1 to 3% within minutes. That is why the rate is locked for 15 minutes when your order is confirmed: this lock protects you from a price drop while your transfer is on the way.
A Bitcoin transaction can take from 10 minutes to over an hour to confirm, depending on network congestion and the fee you attach. If you are in a hurry, prefer a stablecoin; if you sell BTC, attach a normal (not 'economy') network fee for a fast confirmation.
BNB, SOL, TRX and the others: the right reflex
The other accepted coins (BNB, SOL, XRP, TRX, LTC, TON) work on the same principle: live estimate, rate locked for 15 minutes, payout upon confirmation. What they share: volatile prices — so the 15-minute lock is essential.
In short: for speed and predictability, USDT or USDC. To sell BTC/ETH or another coin, the process is identical — just send quickly after confirming to enjoy the locked rate, and choose an appropriate network fee. In all cases, the calculator gives you the exact net before you decide anything.
